Okay... let's do this one by one...

Before anything else: ALL APPEARANCES ARE BASED ON THE MANGA. That means; YES, KAI'S MOM LOOKS LIKE THAT. YES, TAKAO'S MOM LOOKS LIKE THAT TOO!!!

ALSO!!! Storyline is subject to change. HOWEVER this is the FRAME of the story. Vagueness and holes are due to the story's details being under construction Feel free to ask stuffs and point stuffs out anyway xD This isn't final so no biting HAHA

KINOMIYA CLAN
Ryu Kinomiya - a.k.a. "Gramps" So there's gramps in both his teenage and elderly years. MAN! So yeah.... he's a pro samurai who took his training seriously... according to him at least xD

Tatsuya Kinomiya - a.k.a. "Dad" OMG HAHAHA THIS DAD XDDD Really.... LOL... As much as I don't want to leave a negative-sounding comment, I can't help but say he's kinda boring HAHAHA XDDD Hmm... not to say that boring is automatically negative; he just lacks humor... there! He lacks it! xDDD _{No offense to Hiro fans, but now I think I know where Hiro got his... attitude from LOLOLOL}

Yoshie Kinomiya - a.k.a. "Mom" When I saw her in the manga, I was like "awwww" In Kinomiya's house, daffodils are planted in the garden because they were Yoshie's favorite flowers. She passed away due to some sickness when Takao was young. Takao probably got his energetic personality from his mom. (also seeing as her smile in the manga was not the demure kind HAHA) She's a strong woman Takao would tell Max about his mom when Max became sad at the mention of Empress Judy and how they "argued"/how she lectured Max before he was allowed to travel. _{Takao will also mention his mother to Yuriy....... ohshioot wait... there's no Dboyz yet} Takao loves her very much :>

Hiro Kinomiya - a.k.a. "Bro" We have Hiro... without his Beyfanta costume yet though. I just fixed his face HAHAHA... Hmm... but yeah he needs a bit more fixing. So brother went along with dad as an archeologist (and got his not-so-humorous attitude from him as well LOL) He was supposed to have become a samurai and learn the clan's techniques from grandpa but he chose to become a researcher instead and therefore Takao is the one who will learn gramp's techniques.Though between Takao and him, I think Hiro got his face from his mother. Hiro is also described to be a handsome boy.

Then there's Takao Kinomiya~ I SAY he looks like grandpa the most! HAHAHA!!! He has... his father's eyes? And... his mother's eyebrow arch? and attitude... uhh... a mix of gramps and dad's face shape? HAHAH XDDD


HIWATARI CLAN
Suuichiro/Voltaire Hiwatari - I think everybody knows him... yeah xD. So... look at life with a positive point of view; age like gramps. Look at life at the opposite point of view; age like Voltaire HAHAHAHA!!! Yeah there's ninja teenage Voltaire... and the elder Voltaire.

Susumu Hiwatari - a.k.a. "daddy Hiwatari" refer to backstory below.

Unknown Hiwatari mother - the mom of Kai. IMO: Seeing as there are more good-looking people in the Seiryuu clan, I think this mom did wonders and contributed greatly to Kai's handsome bishie face.

STORY TIME!!!

Seiryuu/Blue Dragon clan vs. Suzaku/Red Phoenix clan
Kinomiya clan vs. Hiwatari clan

So the two clans have been warring since history.
Then... Voltaire Hiwatari had this project whatsoever wherein weapons, elements and status/properties can be sealed within scrolls. The expert, daddy Susumu Hiwatari was in charge of making em. So Susumu Hiwatari and Kai were close to each other and he would teach him about scrolls and stuff. However, Susumu realized that the project only results to more war and that such scroll technology could be dangerous when not properly handled. Though Voltaire suggests this will be an advantage over the Seiryuu clan (for the unpredictable technology of stealthily hiding techniques in scrolls), the Byakko clan (who has the least magic knowledge) and the Aqua Kingdom (who they will be at par with because of magic use); daddy Susumu says that
1) This will just encourage bloodshed because pride reigns over the different clans and it will be a never ending cycle.
2) It will put Kai and the family in danger (the Suzaku clan was kinda at a disadvantage during that time)
3) This will further pique the Seiryuu's and Byakko's curiousity and therefore they will aim to steal the same technology--- hooray! everyone will be using scrolls!!! And it's a dangerous technique that requires talent and concentration!!! It will kill ALL!!!

So they fought and Voltaire made Susumu choose;
1) To continue the project and stay with the family.
2) To stop the project and to be sent on exile.

Daddy Susumu chose to stop the project and left Kai, his wife and the whole clan.

During the war,
The Aqua Kingdom retreated because they prioritized the population and stability of their kingdom; closing all doors from the outside world while protecting the Aqua Empress and Prince. The grandmother Queen also died.

The Byakko Kingdom engaged in a deal that they will cease participation in war if;
1) The Aqua Kingdom will send a few stuffs to their land (for recovery? Aid and a bit of magic knowledge)--- hence Rai's thunder and fire element mastery... maybe Kiki's staff as well!
2) The Seiryuu and the Suzaku clan will cease attacks on the Byakko's clan as well.

This was because the Byakko clan was overwhelmed by the technology of the Aqua Kingdom, the "scroll project" of the Suzaku clan and the strength and skill of the Seiryuu clan. They decided they had to prioritize other things first and of course, they wanted to extract such technology from them

Obviously the Aqua Kingdom had to protect itself so they shared. The Seiryuu clan agreed to the terms and decided to keep it that way. (coz they cool samurais)

The Suzaku clan was chaotic at that time; with the cease of the scroll project, the lack of medicine and the injury of many.

Therefore; the Suzaku clan lost to the Seiryuu clan. The Seiryuu clan was able to seal a part of the Phoenix, Suzaku, in a scroll which was locked away, lost and not meant to be discovered again. Even if found, the scroll will work only with the correct casting and skill.

The Suzaku clan retreated and Susumu Hiwatari was never seen again. Daddy Susumu was the one to blame because the clan relied on his knowledge and skill in the project. Now only a few in numbers, the Suzaku clan had to cope with hardships, and they had to make do with what they have finished with the scroll technology.

The Seiryuu clan lived in peace and humble prosperity; not engaging in any war ever since (with the loss of the Suzaku and the isolation of the Byakko and Aqua Kingdom)

Takao learns the clan's techniques from gramps--- most likely for tradition's sake. The village is not expecting a war anymore because they were secure that the Suzaku is weak with half of its power being sealed away.

Kai grew up angry with his father (his mother was killed during the war) and decided to obey Voltaire as he was proven to have the "talent" for scroll use. Others of the Suzaku tried their hand on the scroll, but instead the scroll took over them or it was too overwhelming, their body couldn't handle it and they died When Kai was formally given the Red Phoenix, he had selective amnesia, forgetting a part of his life. He, however, has not forgotten one thing; his mission to seek the part of Suzaku that was sealed away and to take the Seiryuu's heir down. Also, Voltaire's massive brainwashing probably injected numerous stories in Kai's head that made him earn more hatred xD

...... well basically; Susumu's plan WORKED! The war actually STOPPED LOL XD And peace was brought to the land............. The Suzaku was "in peace" BUT they were most affected by the war so... poor Hiwatari people... poor Suzaku clan. Their land was reduced as well (not because of Seiryuu's conquering, but because people can't live there anymore because of the damages.) Susumu was ALSO right; had the Suzaku continued the project-- it will be like the clan's poison because it is DANGEROUS to use scrolls. Not everyone can use it. AND HE IS RIGHT ONCE AGAIN--- about the other clans that will try to gather info about the scrolls (count on the Aqua Kingdom, they be pro's in info-gathering. The Byakko kingdom is also fairly good in infiltration.)

And soo..... the Bladebreakers' bio in their deviation LOLOLOL XD

Long description again, but it was story-telling.
GUYS I HAVE TO WRITE STUFFS DOWN! I HAVE TO GET THESE IDEAS ON PAPER OTHERWISE I MIGHT LOSE THEM! (oh gawd, it happened to the Dboyz) It's also so that I could just look back to my "notes" and make things faster in the future (See the Majestics? they had lotsa betas and stuffs so they were finished in a week)
