I would like to share with you guys...

more and more people are making Beyblade OCs
Haha, funny how most of us (and the ones making OCs now) bashed OCs
I mean, okay, it's true that some OCs are annoying and stuff and some stuffs are like.. "WTH, that will never happen"
BUT HELLO PEOPLE!!!

So WE ALL KNOW these are FAN MADE
It's not as if these OC creators are telling us their OCs are IN the show
Come on people, everyone wants to sorta interact with their favorite characters in a show
So we should respect that... actually these people are very creative and artistic
Yeah, guys I admit that I was one of the people who disliked OCs because the things they do/canons do to them are nearly impossible
But overtime, I realized I am whining over NOTHING.
It's really nice though that less people bash OCs nowadays

Once again, "It seems like everyone listened to me before and started making their own OCs"

oKAY... so far, I have watched 22 episodes from the English dub

I would like to comment on a few things and compare a few stuffs with the old one (though a little slightly... dub-wise anyways)

START!

1) CHARACTERS
Let's talk about some characters...

Currently, I like Hikaru Hasama

She's soooooooo totally cuuute!
AND I'M NOT KIDDING!

I also like Sophie

Though she only appeared in one episode...
I still like her overall, attitude, looks and Beyblading
I SO TOTALLY LOVE WHAT SHE DID TO YUU *eherm.. keep reading*

I like Hyouma!!!

HAHAHA!
CUZ HE IS VERY VEEERY INTERESTING
his being eccentric is a good thing
It's either you'll like him
or hate him because he's annoying
But I like him! a very clever guy...

On a lesser note, I kinda like Gingka and Madoka

Gingka's really cool and mature and all
VERY LIKEABLE
But.. for some reason I think you'll get tired of his being HERO and stuffs
I mean.... he lacks... perks or something
His character lacks some... uhm... depth?
FOR NOW, I mean
that's my opinion... But I heard he gets all excited and a bit Tyson-ish in the second season
I still like him anyway, but not as much as before

MADOKA. IS. USEFUL.
I really don't find her annoying
She's simply natural...
I mean... I can't help but look back at Hilary ROFL
Madoka doesn't try to be cute,
she's not hot-headed and violent
and she's about as good as Kenny when it comes to Beyblades
PLUS factor is that she knows how to clean Beyblades too! XD
However, I am still kinda attached to Kenny since there's a process of learning or improvement when he's there.
Madoka's just... ok, she's there. sit... aha! she can explain explain... look look, calculate.. SOLVE. OK! done.

But Kenny's always tries to go AROUND things. He would discover, and look for other ways to help out.
Madoka's often just dictate and tell so... again, she kinda... KINDA lacks depth...
Still a GOOD character though and quite likeable

ON THE OTHER HAND...
If there's a character I really dislike (By that concrete, formal statement "I really dislike."
It would be...

RYUUGA
Hey, not that he's the character everyone dislikes,
Maybe it's just my whole "I don't like the evil, bad guys" thing
He IS the main villain and the "RAWR! IMMA MONSTAR! IMMA CRUSH YOU!!! I'M SPECIAL CUZ I WAS KEPT IN A CAPSULE AND PRESERVED WITH SOME SPECIAL SOMETHING!!!"
I like his Beyblade and he is SO STRONG
VERY STRONG
But I really dislike him...

Except Brooklyn NEVER really annoyed me... well... except for what he did to Kai... (Cruelty is still cruelty... he didn't have to do that to him)

2) Dub
On the dub...
I can say that MFB seems like...
It's TRYING OH SO HARD to be like the OLD one (Tyson cast)
Yes, Beyblade, Tyson's cast, had one of the BEST english dubs in anime history. It had some jazz to it and the voice actors were KIDS

And Tyson cast had good DICTION
DICTION, people. It's a natural thing

While here in MFB, you'd sometimes hear them trying so hard to be as jazz as the old one, they would be exagerrating and say some lines that are unnecessary! (I'm looking at you Gingka... you go "uuuuuh? hyuuuuuh?" for no reason)

I don't think it's the voice actors' fault anyway
(Brooklyn from G rev is Gingka's VA btw)
It's the directors and stuff
I mean... they lost that special touch to it
Maybe........
.... yeah, maybe it's the voice actors too?
The kids who dubbed Tyson, Kai and co. were TALENTED
BUT THEN AGAIN, the other characters (Robert, Enrique, Emily, Mariah etc.) HAD good diction and dub too!

Conclusion... it IS the directing =_=

Anyway, that's my comment on the overall...

Let us start with the "BAD"
....well I'm not really saying it sucks, just the "bad one compared to the rest"

Number 1... BENKEI

Okay okay...
GOOD JOB with the fitting voice for the character
NO SARCASM!
The thing is...
His voice is TOO NOISY
guys, not "loud" but
NOISY
NOISE = LACK OF HARMONY IN MUSIC
It HURTS my ears so bad!
I would always LOWER the volume of my PC when he talks
I appreciate his dubbing but, they just have to fix his voice so it will not be painful to the ears.

What is misleading you?
You did an AMAZING job as Brooklyn before!
Nothing unnecessary, nothing exaggerrated and TOTALLY EFFORTLESS!

I expected myself to dislike him as a character
But because of his voice and his wit, I'm alright with him XDDD

MADOKA!!!

Say goodbye to those "annoying squeaky girl characters who shouy "NYIAAAAA!!!!!" or "KYAAAAA~!!!" all the time!
Madoka's voice is very professional and intelligent
Her tagline; "You follow (me)?" which adds character
GOOD JOB!!!

Side comments...
Okay, so Kyouya's english voice is different from the japanese...
For me, I'm okay with it because it matches his theme and overall character
At the start, it was totally snakey... uhh yeah... "snakey"
And a bit exaggerrated... but not really bad-bad
Overtime, the voice actor is toning it down a bit
Which is good for Kyouya fans because a lot of them liked the Japanese version better
So his voice gets better

Hyouma's voice...
I think it's alright
Not really good-good or bad-bad
Some peopel say it's like he has problems with his throat
But I think his voice is good in a way because Hyouma is, so far, the MOST INTERESTING character
So his voice complements his being MYSTERIOUS and all
Hearing his voice will make you kinda look at him and pay attention
Cuz he's weird like that XDDD

Speaking of the dub...

VOCALOID

I shall make this straight to the point (cuz you know when I type about something, it occupies 3/4 of my journal limit.)
What's up with the popularity of Vocaloid? I mean, okay, it's an amazing synthesizer and all with those cutesy (though seemingly dumb) characters. But I honestly think that it doesn't deserve the fandom it is getting. Character designs are repetitive and themes are redundant. OH! and did I mention that Vocaloid often has RATED-M/X themes behind those cutesy lyrics? Vocaloid, you're trying to lure kids/young teens into those stuff. What the hell. So I may not be making any concrete sense when I start on these so... I shall also comment on the character voice/songplay itself. I think Vocaloid doesn't deserve the fandom given their voice/standards. Everytime I would hear someone speak in a stupid sounding voice that is barely understandable and really really not articulate, I would say "Wait, pardon? You're starting to sound like a Vocaloid." Vocaloid voices sound terrible. They HURT the ears. Maybe I should try making Benkei sign up for it hm? XDD Works. People, if you want to make music, MAKE THEM YOURSELF. Practice your NATURAL talents and don't RELY on some COMPUTER NOTE GENERATOR.

Okay, don't get me wrong. I don't HATE Vocaloids. I am "okay" with them. It's just that I honestly think Vocaloid's DO NOT DESERVE THE FANDOM THEY ARE GETTING. I think you call that.. uhm.. what's that term? "overrated"? Naruto is understandable.. it has some substance into it. But sorry... Musically and Artistically speaking, Vocaloids do not deserve the fandom. Vocaloid is one of those things that "got lucky" otherwise, they will just become some EPIC FAIL thing left in the trash can. Again, don't get me wrong. I am just giving my opinion. I don't hate the fans either. I just find some illogical injustice in everything. Hey, I DO listen to Vocaloid songs and my fave is Matoroyoshika (kids, don't even bother interpreting it though. It's for the older mind) and I applaud Miku's guest performance in one of my favorite band's songs. I believe that before I could critique or comment on something, I gotta have some substantial material so yes, I LISTENED. And therefore, my opinion.

Vocaloid fans, go ahead and defend your fandom. I couldn't care less and I would respect that since it's also your opinion. So please respect mine. Oh, actually, I ENCOURAGE that you defend your fandom so that I can hear more about what the fans have to say about it and what they see in it. No offense XDDD I'm serious.

I am academically grade-conscious and I totally am taking my college life seriously
Because of my love for libraries, I have found nice books in my univ's and so one of my hobbies is studying Russian (for leisure cuz I am really one who loves studying and learning)
Also, I have things to do for the Student council in college
Plus, I was recently told I was a candidate for Business Manager in our college's paper
So you know, I gotta work

My recent drawings are quickly drawn (about 1.5 hours only) and it is to stretch
